What we check on a Delta booking
The fare brand rather than the cabin. Delta now sells restricted "basic" style bundles above economy, so a premium cabin on its own does not tell us a ticket is flexible.

If you recover money on a Delta ticket, what form does it usually take?
Delta calls its travel credit an eCredit. A recovery generally comes back as credit in the passenger's name rather than cash, and a refund to your original card is only possible where the fare rules allow it — a refundable ticket, for example, or a change inside the 24-hour window US carriers generally offer. Airline policies vary by fare, route, and ticket, and they change. We verify the rules that apply to your specific booking before anything is filed.
Does my Delta flight or seat change if the fare is repriced?
No. The point of the mechanism is that nothing about the trip moves — same flight number, same date, same cabin, same seat. Only the price is repriced to the lower fare, and the difference is returned to you. If anything administrative changes on a specific booking, we tell you exactly what and what it means for your check-in.
What does it cost to watch a Delta booking?
Adding a booking and watching the fare is free. Dipback keeps 25% of what it actually recovers, and only once the credit is confirmed in your name — so on a $128 recovery the fee is $32 and you keep $96. If the fare never drops, or a drop turns out not to be recoverable, there is no fee.
