Terms of service
Draft — last updated August 27, 2026. These terms are under legal review and may change before launch.
The service
Dipback monitors the price of flights you have already booked and, where airline policy allows, recovers the difference when the fare drops — typically as airline travel credit issued in the traveler's name, or a refund to your original card where the fare rules permit. Dipback is not a travel agency and does not sell tickets. Dipback is not affiliated with or endorsed by any airline. Every recovery is reviewed and initiated by our team at your request; we do not run automated re-shopping on your behalf.
Who we are
Dipback is operated by Longterm studio ("Dipback", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@dipback.com. We provide the service to customers worldwide, including in the United States.
Eligibility & your responsibilities
You must be at least 18 and the account holder for the bookings you add. The service works only for tickets booked directly with a supported airline on eligible fares — standard economy and above. Basic Economy, Saver, and similar "light" fares, award/points tickets, and travel-agency (OTA) bookings are not eligible. You are responsible for the accuracy of the booking details you provide, and you authorize us to act on your booking solely to recover value on your behalf. Your flight, seat, and cabin are never changed.
Fees & memberships
Tracking bookings is free. When we secure savings on a booking, we charge a success fee to the account holder's card on file. The fee is a percentage of the total amount recovered across the booking — including credits issued to any additional passengers — charged once to the account holder: 25% on the free plan, or a lower rate on a paid membership (currently 15% on Silver, 5% on Lifetime and 0% on Gold). The fee applies only after the airline confirms the credit or refund, and drops below our minimum threshold (currently $25) are not claimed.
Silver and Gold are optional memberships, billed in advance and renewing automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel. Lifetime is a single payment that does not renew: there is nothing to cancel, and it does not expire. We disclose the price and renewal terms before you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime from your account — see our refund & cancellation policy. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Credits for bookings with more than one passenger
Airlines issue recovered value per passenger — a separate credit in each traveler's own name — and these credits are generally not transferable between travelers and expire (usually about a year from the original purchase). On a booking with several passengers, most of the recovered value may belong to travelers other than the account holder, even though the success fee is charged once to the account holder. We disclose this before you add a multi-passenger booking.
Cancellation
You can stop using Dipback at any time by removing a booking, cancelling a membership, or deleting your account. Because Dipback is a digital service you can begin using immediately, no statutory EU distance-selling withdrawal period applies; our cancellation terms are set out here and in the refund & cancellation policy. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your home country or US state.
No guarantee
Fare drops depend on airline pricing and policies, which change without notice. We make no guarantee that any booking will produce savings, and airline policies determine whether recovered value is issued as credit or refund, and any expiry or restrictions on it. You authorize us to act on your booking solely to recover value on your behalf; your flight, seat, and cabin are never changed.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dipback's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Lithuania have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your home country or US state grants you rights or a venue that cannot be waived, which continue to apply.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in the product, and the "last updated" date above will change.
